Hey y'all. I've got a local dealer trying to sell me one of these^^^… I'm wondering if it any good or what . Will it get loud or not he's gonna build me a custom ported box for my fire bird and it'll be on a d1000.1 wired to 1 ohm. Thanks for any input. He's a cool guy who has done many systems I have heard.

Yep they are great drivers, I have a 2515 with the supercharged option sitting in my room waiting to be installed in the spring time.

Get the supercharged option, it adds a neo slug in the motor and a shorting ring which increase motor force and lowers induction meaning it will sound better.

That's a pretty solid price. I'd say go for it, I was happy with my DD 2512 apart from it overpowering my front stage.

I know a guy who used to do low 50s with 4 d3 10s. I would still go with the DD.

Yep, it wasn't a giant front stage, just a set of 6.5's on 50W a side, but the bass was very overbearing.
