dd 1508 sealed???

has anyone used these in a sealed box? i just bought a 90 chevy s10 single cab and dont want to do a blow through quite yet.

( the bed is cut for air ride) so i wont do a blow through until the notch is covered.

i was wondering how 4 1508s would be in a sealed box. not sure on cubic ft yet but will find out some day this week.

or would 2 1508s in a ported box be better? i beleive this is my favorite but only because im not sure if they like sealed or not

Do not sealed them. Those, with the right power, will be the loudest 8s you can get IMO.

there was a dood over on soundpressure that sealed one and said it did decent...definitely not the recommended setup though. Might want to go search over there...

if you want subs sealed, try RE SE

1 cube a piece ported @ 35 Hz 12 square inches of port always seemed to do very well for me.

2 1508's with that saz1500 will be bad *** for 8's.

i have 1 on 1k(ava) and its very, very impressive.
