DC XL10 ported 1^3??

According to the website the dc XL 10 only needs a 1 cubic foot enclosure? Thats seams small althought its a 10" sub. Wiuld it really sound good and hit hard with only 1 cubic foot?

yessir. DC subs love small boxes with ton of port area

at the absolute most, 1.2 cf for a little more low end.

I had a DC Level 3 15 in a 3.25cf enclosure ported tuned to 30hz and the lows were insane and it played music great.

Oh wow thats good to know im thinking of leaving my 12 and going with a 10 due to my space issues i just hate that none of the subs i want the manufavtures list specs on the websites. DC is the firsst one i see. Do you know any other subs that dont mind small enclosures?

Sundown subs do good in small enclosures

All I really have experience with

Sundown and DC

Obsidian subs appear as if they work well in small ported boxes aswell

What about tantric 10s? I see your sig says you have 3? But id be interested in the HDD. Are your mds loud?

Ive done some testing with two 10" XLs on about 4k. I found that the best sounding and also the loudest on the meter was 1.4 cubes each using 15 sq" port daily and 17 sq" for #s- slot port.
