DC power alternator or Mechman

I don't want to fabricate anything...Excessive Amperage can make me one that will bolt right in, but it's 355$ and I wanted to shop around :p
$355 isnt much money if you have an import! usually domestic as/truck alternators are around that price..im willing to pay $650 for my alternator and it looks like im going to pay about $580

Why would you say it is dumb to get ahold of peoples opinion that run mech man. It's not hard to see all of the good feedback and positive responses his company gets. Just as easily as I have gathered Fact to your opinions, you could of done the same.
I remember you told someone that they have no idea on what kinda parts DC has. Well do you?

And how do you know mechman isn't the same with staffing as dc? For All we know he could be the only guy in the shop. But he still manages to answer phone and answer any and all questions you have to ask.

Thanks for helping the case that DC can really give a shit about caraudio If they are so worried about their contracts with Boeing. Mechman cares about caraudio needs by spending countless years combating issues extreme systems have with their alternators. Just look at how much time he has spent on one of the most widely used competition vehicles, the crx. And he managed to develop a solution to our biggest problem. So mechman cares about car audio, unlike DC as you two have stated.

all facts here

and btw DC power is a 3 man show?

did you know mechman is a two man show? 1 builds, 1 answers phone's. and they get orders for 40+ alts at one time all the time(gets them out within a week btw) from over sea's from people using dune buggies or something like that, they need a alt that can with stand the heat over in those hot countries, where the roads are sand and dirt so it needs to with stand debirs, and well etc you get the point...

how difficult is it to fab a alt bracket? it doesnt seem like it would be all that difficult; just something not every1 is down for doing
It really depends upon the application, but it can be a PITA and also 99% of the time the alt must line up near perfectly or the belt will slip, squeal, or shred itself...

God people are too funny.

I wonder who can build a Ford small block or big block dual and tripple alternator bracket without having the vehicle present to work on it?

Also fabbing up brackets aren't hard at all. Its getting everything perfectly inline with your puller system and having execellent belt wrap. What does mechmans standard dual kit come with? One idler pulley?

I wonder which gets hotter, the engine of a Boeing airplane or saudi arabia?

One question, tell me what's the specs on mechmans ext regulator and I'll tell you those specs are no better then what all the standard alternator shops offer for ext regulators.

I'll see if I can get the man himself to add a few paragraphs about your theories on DC's alternators.

as i have said, if you interested in a Mechman alt i will be glad to take care of everything for you...

and good luck with DC mr micheal. DC power makes great alts
not buying anything bro just asked them a couple simple questions to see if they get back to me. thanks though

I got a Tommykay brand alt that does 11kw..

no bullshit.
