Dc m 38

While I'm at it, if .75 cu ft is all you have to work with, then a sealed enclosure is what you want, and the DC M3 8 won't work for ya.....they like ported better. I would suggest an E series Sundown Audio. You said you listen to a lot of genre's of music, so I would suggest a small 8" ported enclosure then, if you can spare the room.

The Sony systems are a PITA to get around in these cars. The DSR1 is plug and play and will replace the whole amp as well as adding a Rockford 360.3 DSP built in. Very nice piece and only cost $300 total.
Oh ok so it's similar to the Audiocontrol LC7i then...

Ok how about better that it...? (crosses fingers)
Much better because it is a has a dsp built in. You can fine tune any aspect of your system and get some serious sound quality. Say your tweeters are harsh at a certain frequency, you can even that frequency exactly. With the lc7i, its just an active loc with the ability to restore roll offs. It doesn't really give you any great tuning abilities.

Its plug and play. It removes the factory sony amp. It removes the factory crossovers, fade, and EQ. It has a rockford 360.3 processor built in.

The LC7I you have to splice wiring. You have to add resistors to the factory amp so it sees a load at all times to keep it from destroying itself. You have to keep the factory amp installed. You will retain all the factory EQ, crossover, fade, and other settings.

no thats a straight up insult. Dont compare the DSR1 to that POS line out converter garbage.

Its a full blown 8 channel DSP thats bluetooth controlled on your smartphone. Basically has everything a full blown dsp can do.

It can be used as a stand alone processor aka rcas or speaker level inputs OR you can bypass factory amp setups with the Idatalink Maestro connection in GM cars. What this means is, you arent subjected to the sh*tty agressive high pass filter of the stock head unit meaning your bass will be that much stronger off the bat. LC7i cant do jack shit in comparison it really is an insult to even have them in the same sentence. Imagine the 80 prs on extreme steroids

can do a 3 way active front plus sub, or a 2 way active front + center and sub or a front, rear, center and sub.

here's a video of me running through the software on my phone.

How long has this unit been on the market?

Just released last month. Its a complete game changer at that price point and gets rid of the need of using a stupid laptop everytime you need to change a setting. Its sold out everywhere.

Rockford making a serious power play to dominate the OEM integration market and no other company can do anything to stop them.

Still reletevly new....as it is to me. Did not know that. Had no idea it would blow the LC7 out the water.

Now others will follow....just watch, give it time. Audiocontrol needs to do something.
