DC lvl4 what are they best for??

They definatley hurt @36. They dropped down alright from there but nothing to ride home about.

Good daily subs for sure though, just be careful beating on them tuned that low

2 12" LVL4s would be perfect in something like 2.5ft3 per woofer w/ 30-35in2 of port, tuned to like 32-34hz. It will destroy the lows as long as it's built properly and amp/hu settings are all correct(with a decent setup they will be lol).

Btw your friends DD likes being tuned more around 38-40hz for daily and will pick up the lows perfectly. But try out the suggestion i put out there and if you're not satisfied with it then rebuild.

well ive come up with one brand new lvl 4 going to wait on a second one till funds come in and i can upgrade my at, i got quoted 400 bux because my alt is european n would have to be custom. Back to the sub though a friend and i are going to build a box at 1.9 cu ft after displacement and tube porting the box to 32 hz. i will be feeding the sub with a audiopipe ap15001d of course dropping the gains and bumpin up the subsonic filter.

yep box will be 3 cubes total and right at 1.9 after all displacments. going with 2 4" pvc's until he gets some aeros //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
