DC Lvl 5s, will this be an issue?

i have the 4xl give them 2300w each now they only get warm after 1-2 songs but im not sure if they will like 4kw each

Scope your amps it sounds like you got some clippage

I get about 5-7mins at full music volume before I can smell anything. Thats also playing songs with constant bass lines. Normal radio etc.. doesnt get hot ever.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

these no clipping it gets warm at full tilt at half volume i can play it for hours with no smell he seen my vids i beat the piss out of them i think 2300-2500w rms is really the lv4XL limit you can give it up to 3000w but not full tilt more like 60sec they do alot better then my old dd 9512s i also im running them at 38hz with 1.75cb each sub

power handling limits will also be dependent on enclosure size, for example my box is 10 cubes, so 5 cubes per sub after displacement, they should be much more effeceint but have less power handling for long term then I would assume a small enclosure would offer. For burps though they should be able to take just about anything.

I run a DC 3000.1 on each of my XLs full tilt into the high 20hz range and dont smell coil. They can get warm but thats about it. and box is ~15 cubes

Now that I would like to see. Have you actually clamped your amps to see real power and impedance rise? Not calling you a liar but that is a crazy amount of power for those subs and that frequency.
