dc lv4's or aq hdc 3's ?

ive been looking for subs that will match up with my kicker zx2500. i wanted death row 12's but the enclosure requirements were to large for my car. im thinking dc sounds because the 12 only takes 1.5 or 1.75 ported, and the aq's i will have to go 10's because again the 12's are too large for my trunk. i want to be loud but have decent sq. just for you guys to know, i have a 2001 grand am so space is an issue. so which set up would yall pick and why?

I wanna say the dc xl has a bigger motor and is rated a 1500rms if I recall correctly. I was looking into them in the past.

the reason he is really asking is because he asked me about a box build for him but everything i really came up with was really too big to build outside of the car. I was afraid that it wouldn't fit through the opening. So he really needs something that will pound very hard off of 2500 watts but do it in a small ported box

Gotcha! How about a pr. of SDC 2.5's instead. Smaller enclosure and would match up well with the amp.

Gotcha! Does he have about 3.5cu ft to work with? If so the HDC's would do well in that. Or 1 @ 2 cu. ported.

pretty sure he can do 3.5^3.......he definately wants 2 subs tho from what i gathered. I'd go with 1 BTL or HDC3 on that power

I think he would really be impressed with a pr of 10's at 3.5 or so. I know the box I got out of a 150+ neon was only that.

Ive never really seen alot of people use DCs honestly.

But ive personally used HDCs and seen them PROVENNN in usaci streetbeat

Id go HDC, unless DC price is a good bit cheaper
