2 lvl 3 15s is a good choice. What amp you have?

Rockford Fosgate T1000-1BD. Its birthsheet is 1260 watts RMS @ 1ohm. So figured 2 15 level 3's which ask for 600rms each would be a good fit for now?

yea i like it so far. brand new for 400....wasnt to bad. I have always liked RF amps.....speakers.....not so much, lol.

Where did you buy it from? If you actually paid $400, it better have come from an authorized dealer with a full warranty lol

Unfortunately no, it was my first purchase. Got it online...they give a 2yr warranty, lol. I was anxious and hit the buy button, lol My local RF dealer wanted to sell me one for 600. Another for 650, so figured 400 was ok.

I was thinking 15's would hit lower, and maybe give more air pressure. But 12's would sound louder in the car. Atleast that is what my local shop installer told me. I never owned 15's so have no comparison.

Cone size has almost nothing to do with frequency response.

Yea that is what I am hearing. I decided on 2 15's....just looking for a ported box design atm. Looking to get these in about a month give or take.
