Dc Alternator or ?

I got quotes from few hi-output guys... i'd like a final opinion before i make me official choice.

What do you guys think of DC power alternator, reliability is the most important thing since i,m in canada and don't want to ship it back every month.

was quoted 519$ shipped for an 250/140 alt. I did got few offer alot lower, but realiabilty might be questionnable at best.

Rob from DC also stated that everything was oem like and bolt on. So no need to worry about anything here?

charge at 15.1v cold and 14.6-14.7 hot. Is it too much for my othe car electrical components?

any other suggestion on where i should look? localy, no one seems able to do that. the biggest rewind i could get is 140amp max and even lower iddle than stock.

oh btw, car is an Hyundai elantra gt 2004. got a 110ah batt in rear and 60ah upfront.

I plan on buying more batts later on to run my x5000.1

i can tell u dont get a DB electric mine just shit out it is suppose to put out 200amp but now its at 30amps

I've talked to rob a bit seems like a nice guy and his products appear to be reliable and do what they claim. I think it's worth the higher price on something as imporant as the alt.

not that much higher for what the alt he offered me were. I don't care to pay a little more for something that won't give me trouble. Shipping is expensive over here, i just don't want to get into that every month.

I have one that is said to do 242 max and 178 idle for a F150 5.4L it charges at 14.2 warm and around 14.5 cold. It does the job and I think its worth the extra money. Amazing customer service as well. He forgot to send my bracket with the ALT next day air shipping he sent it.
