So, its a strange question for sure, but I currently have the DB on the ported 12"...but I was thinking...I keep the gains very low on the sub, the DB does not have to work very hard at all, but I have this SAX 100.2 that I was going to use for my comps...until I brought my Clarion XH 5410 4 channel which will bi-amp my soon to be purchased HAT Imagine 6.5's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif My question should I swap out the DB for the SAX 100.2? They're both class AB, but which will be more suited to my needs, and which will be more efficient and have a cleaner sound/better response? I'm in the process of getting some batteries to stabilize the juice to my trunk, but less current draw is always nice for a DD mainly sq setup...thanks!

keep the db drive amp you will have more headroom and that is a plus. the db will also have ssf which should be used if you are running a ported enclosure..
x2. If youre concerned about efficiency with electrical, you shouldnt be thinking about a/b amps either. IMO running that one sub amp with the gain low and a 4 channel you probably wont need a trunk battery, just a good one under the hood.

What type of single battery solution would you suggest? What do you think of a kinetik hc600?

That battery should be fine for in the rear, I don't know about up front though...
So you think a 2 battery solution would give me more headroom? I was gonna do that little guy in the trunk and a 75/25 red top up front, thoughts?
