Well, luckily zenon makes about all the super-mondo-mega wattage amps out there now.

As for alternate places to go, ive sent my amps to Audiotekx, CIA Engineering, and Amp Repair Center.. none were capable of fixing anything ive owned. This will be a big blow to the DIY audio community //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I totally understand his point though. People fvcking around with him and then not paying him is unforgiveable. Hell I dont even send out an amp unless im willing to at least pay a couple of hundred to get it fixed, and I always have the money upfront.

Its not that they are not going to do personal amps anymore, they are just scalling back due to more important contract work for companies and the lack of help he has working on them. He explains this on his web forum.

Yep, the big watt Zenons and the like are non-repairable thus far. I fixed snoopdans amp, but I think he just got lucky. Working on the IA 40.1's to see if I can repair those reliably. If I can, then at some point I will start taking in the other brands that are similar (all the big-watt Zenons and the like). We have gotten into sales too, got lots of stuff in our online store now, and the Sundown Amps are selling very good, keeping me busy doing refurbs. I also get some trade-ins too, they are up in the online store if anyone is interested:

We are still taking personal repairs, just limiting the amount we take in, and limiting the types of amps we take in. The ones with bad success rates or with extremely low profit margins we are no longer accepting. Just email or PM me if you want to know IF we will take in your amp for repair. sales@db-r.com

Props to Chris for still doing what you can while moving with your own plans. Everybody has to move onto bigger and better things (hopefully) at one time or another. Good luck to you and thanks for the previous service.
