Db loss (seat doesnt fold down)

I dont know what the exact numbers would be but I will tell you that I once had my back seats completely out of my car one time and I once turned my system up and all I can say is that what I did hear, I couldnt stand it was so loud. It was loud enough that everytime the subs would hit a real low note, my ears would pop continuously so yea, it makes quite a big difference.

2 maybe 3 db's max? all depends on how much insulation is behind your seats and if there is a sheetmetal wall there as well. i knew someone that gained 4 db from removing the his backseat and cutting out the deck as well, which basically took all the baffling out of the car so the subs hit directly into the cabin. opposed to hitting in the trunk.

if you wanted to make it louder and are willing to put in the work or money i would make a box that fires threw a hole in teh rear deck.(i seen it in a caraudio book b4)

you make the box structured so all the bass fires up words threw the hole and then u use xpanding foam to seal it up.

if you want more info on how this works i can draw a pic.
