my buddy had a db drive speed a500 amp in his truck and he said it went out a few months ago so he just unhooked it. we were cleaning his truck this weekend and he decided to take it out since it's not being used and it is just one more thing for someone to spot and want to steal....a thief wouldn't know that it doesn't work.
anyway, he was going to throw it in the trash and asked if i wanted it. i said sure i'd look into whether it would be worth looking into getting repaired. i haven't hooked it up myself to test it (not sure what he guaged as being broken), but will probably test it out later today just to double check something else in his truck wasn't messed up.
i don't know anything about db drive, other than his subs slammed with it when it was working. if i have no luck with it, is this something that would be worth sending off or taking to a local shop to be fixed? i don't really have any use for it right now, but if it could be repaired for a small price, it would probably be worth hanging onto.
here are the specs i could find on it (it's not listed on their site anymore):
