hi i just bought 2 rockford fosgate stage 3 10" dual voice coil speakers i put them in my box these speakers are both 2ohm and 4ohm but i don't know what to run them as in the box should i wire them for 2ohm or 4ohm i want to get the best power out of them. now the problem is my amp. I don't know the ohm's it's running at to match the speakers it says 1ohm sellectable on the amp, i have 4 channels coming out of the amp so it's " +/- +/- +/- +/- " and i have 2 speaker wires left and right and they are connected to the amp positive on 1 channel negative on channel 2 then the other speaker wire is positive on channel 3 and negative on channel 4

anyone know what ohm i would have to wire each speaker in the box?

thank you.

y did u get 2 different vc configs? I think i would let someone else take a look at it and go trade one of those subs in so that they are both dual 2 or dual 4 not one of each. What is your amps final load?

my speakers i bought are both the same ohms they can do 2 or 4 ohms i don't know if i should wire them together or wire them seperatly as i have 2 speaker wires going into the box from the amp and i don't know if i should put each speaker at 4ohm or at 2ohm.

where in canada are you at?

I say try to google about wiring subs and amps. check out jl's website as well. they have some good wiring diagrams there. might give you a better idea on which way to wire up the subs.

my amp is a sony don't know the model of it but it does say 1ohm selectable on it. it's a 4 channel but it looks like im using 2 speaker wires using positive on 1 channel negative on second channel for 1 speaker wire then for the other speaker wire i have positive on 3rd channel and negative on 4th channel that's for the 2nd speaker wire. then i have the 2 speaker wires going into my box now is where im stuck should i configure the 2 subs seperatly so 1 speaker wire for 1 sub and second speaker wire for the second sub and if so should i put the sub's to 2ohm or 4ohm cause my sub's are 2 and 4ohm dual voice coil the p3104d rockford sub's.

thanks for all your help so far //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
