Dayton Reference Drivers? XO Points?

I was trying to go with a generic crossover, didn't feel like building one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif...

Like I said in Lemans' thread...going cheap does not equal 3-way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
not really cheap, its just I don't have the time to research the XO...assembly wouldn't take me long...

So anyone mind designing me the crossover?

Take it from me, you MUST spend money on your crossover with those speakers. Seriously. Not only that, a 2nd order slope really isn't sufficient. I ran a 2-way setup using a L-R 2nd order slope. Sounded pretty good, I'll admit. Then I started noticing some serious flaws and knew the enclosure was good and the drivers were **** good too. Made a 4th order L-R and it was truly night and day. The RS line has SERIOUS breakup issues and major comb filtering problems. Also, most importantly if you are going to run the RS high: baffle step. Make sure that you design your enclosure to take it into account, otherwise, as they get into their breakup nodes, you'll be able to tell they should have more/different output. Either that, or keep them close to the walls of the room, which also has it's ups and downs.

Oh, and honestly, the dayton 15 dollar soft dome tweeter sounds better than the one you posted. It really isn't all that fantastic. Look into Seas prestige tweets for good cost/performance ratios.
