Dayton Reference Drivers? XO Points?

Well If I do go with a cheaper tweeter I could build a decent crossover...

But the issue exists is when I have to add more to the setup; eg: center and rears?

How will I effectively do this?

I own the woofers/mids already...I havn't purchased the tweeter yet...

But I really did wish I could stick with the LR 2nd order, my main goal is to really build the enclosures and get the drivers mounted..

I was also thinking about an electronic crossover unit?

Any particular reason you want a tweeter, dome mid, woofer?

Why not a standard MTM ?

Choose one of six already designed crossovers. Read the last paragraph and it tells

you that only one of those crossovers is optimized for MTM and TMM configuration.

Everyone is jumping on the Dayton RS bandwagon and making good designs. No need

to re-invent the wheel. Use that same Dayton RS design for surround. For center, an

optimized design, WMTW is found here;

Even if the drivers are more expensive than what you want to pay, think about

all the free engineering work already done. These would be high end/expensive designs if

you found them in the store.

I plan to use the MTM design for the center and rears but thats later on..

I'm building 2 big towers...that will bi-amped from the receiver...

My goal is just to build the towers and sub enclosures...

I'm not looking for pure HT so...the concept isn't the same.
