That locking system Ford employs on those balljoints is stupid, to say the least. it sure is a weak link, looks like it snapped right there.
Still, it was probably original and deteriorated, the new one should be better and probably not break like that.. I'd imagine there's a company out there that makes a totally redesigned front knuckle/arms to eliminate that problem.. the knuckle might even be a drop spindle to lay out more.

I dunno if that's for sure, but since minitrucking is so popular I'm just assuming.

there is my friend has a low rider 90's step side ranger there is a kit and they use different spindles from a mustang or sumthing of that nature or could be after market parts. His is not bagged though his is on hydralics and he can make it hop and destroy his bumpers lol

Truck looks awesome! Love those rims.

Sucks to see about the ball joint, but I know from first hand expierence you run into problems from time to time from putting your ride on air, or hydro's. Done both and I miss it, but not worth the headache IMO.

finally some pics, been makin some progress sense ive been home an actually starting to get excited that this thing should be out cruising before too long.

As of right now the engine xmember is ~1" from laying, so im gonna try cutting the cups and in the rear its bottomed out on some xmember that the exhaust runs through. This will be drug flush :E

A shot of the modded cell, hopefully it works well.
