davidfre21s 2000 ranger build

pic of the passenger side cut, forgot to snap a pic of the drivers side but it looks about the same. Plenty of clearance lifted and dropped.

Pic of the lift, it gets pretty good. I was able to take the jack stands out just by airing it up :E

and last a pic of it aired out. Right now its sitting on the lower arms bump stops. Didnt have access to a welder atm so this is work for now. Keeps my tie rods from binding. Its about 1-1.5" from the ****** xmember.

i did some more cutting sense this and flipped my hangers in the rear. Im now 7" dropped in the rear and the front is about an inch lower. I think my front bag cups need to be trimmed a little for it to lay the rest of the way.

well broke a ball joint the other day and this is the after math

ouch that sucks im getting my uppers done this week love your truck by the way and hey i got a question whats the fastest you've gone in it after you had it bagged? cause i heard from somewere that you can only go safely up to 55mph

A bagged truck should be just as safe if not safer than stock.. if built right.

I've had my Buick to around 90 while it was bagged (that's how I dry it after a carwash, ha) with no problems.

for daily driving its true, all i did was lift my truck to pull it into the driveway. Over extended the ball joint. Its probably my systems weakest link. And if a problem from djm.

That locking system Ford employs on those balljoints is stupid, to say the least. it sure is a weak link, looks like it snapped right there.

Still, it was probably original and deteriorated, the new one should be better and probably not break like that.. I'd imagine there's a company out there that makes a totally redesigned front knuckle/arms to eliminate that problem.. the knuckle might even be a drop spindle to lay out more.

I dunno if that's for sure, but since minitrucking is so popular I'm just assuming.
