Dash fuses blowing

System setup:

Rockford Fosgate power 750s for subs

Nakamichi 6 channel amp for highs

Alpine Cda-9807

2003 Nissan Maxima SE

My under dash fuse keeps blowing. It happens sometimes when I turn on the car, or sometimes when I'm driving and bumping the music pretty loud. One thing to note is that when I do turn on my car, my sub amp turns on and my sub does an initial "thump" and then works perfectly fine.

It's always the same fuse that blows in the underdash, the one for my side mirrors. That fuse is a 10 amp fuse. I even tried putting a 15 amp fuse (I don't know how smart that was), and it still blew. Any help would be appreciated guys.

Is the remote wire ran from amp to head unit or to one of the side fuses? I had a similar problem and it turned out to be some of the insulation on the dash wires had melted because I had a wreck and the shop that put it back together messed up on the wiring of the fog lights and was causing the wires to get to hot. So I had to just wrap them in electrical tape and not turn on my fog lights.

Yeah, the remote wire is running straight form the HU to both amps. How would I check for the insulation? It's weird how the it's the mirrors though.

I previously had a power acoustik amp gothich series ov2-1600 hooked up before, and I i don't think I had a problem with that, from what I can recall. Could it possibly be the rockford amp and the start up signal that it sends to the sub that causes that initial thump?
