Martin Truex dominated today at Martinsville, leading 464 of 500 laps. I like Truex, he won an Xfinity Championship driving for Jr and also drove for DEI but I don't pull for anyone that drives a Toyota. I was hoping Byron, in the 24, was going to be able to pass him for his first win but he couldn't quiet get to him.

Ricky Rudd in 1984. During the Daytona Clash Rudd was involve in a crash that sent his car airborne, flipping and rolling countless times. Two weeks later he race in the Daytona 500, his face so swollen that he had to use tape to hold his eyes open, he finished seventh. A week later, again with his eyes taped open, he won the race at Richmond.
