CVX, l7, l5 help

Is the CVX equal to an l7 or an l5?? Looking for 15 inch CVX's or solobarics, prefer dual 2 ohms. If i cant get them used where is the cheapest place online?? thanks!

what are you trying to accomplish? Are you looking to get just a loud system? If so, I would go with the L7. Egay is probably the best place to get a new sub.

yes yes i know that they are round but someone at a shop told me it was a round solobaric, so i wanted to know if its a round l5 or l7? currently i have kicker cvr's and a kicker setup on the inside as well, very satisfied with the way it sounds just want louder deeper bass.

I think the person at the shop lied to you. Kicker doesn't make round solobarics anymore.

If im not mistaken the cvx has the same motor as an L7 just with a round cone.

I have been told many times that the CVX is basically an l7, but seems the CVX has better SQ IMO to the l7.

Yeah Ive heard both, the 15'' versions, the L7's were kind of muddy, the CVX, sounded better and were just as loud. The L7's were in a 9 cu. box dont know what they were tuned to and were pushed by a zx2500. I dont know what size box or amp was pushin the CVX's, but they sounded better to me. If choosing between the two I would get the CVX's. The difference in spl is not enough for me to sacrafice that much sq.

X2 the CVX is an overall better sub to me compared to the L7.

Jesus, how many subs were in the 9cft box, lol!

I had 1 12" CVX on 750rms autotek amp and did 138 off the TL and sounded very nice as well..................in a 1.5cft sealed box. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Have heard many l7's and one guy I know has 1 l7 off 1000rms in an extended cab of a truck and his was about the same loudness as my trunked car and didn't sound as good to me.

Install dependent, but from my expierence, I like the CVX better.
