cvr or type r

which sub will harder with an Alpine MRP-M650?
a Kicker CVR 12"

or an Alpine Type-R 12"

both would be in a ported box.

and would it hit harder at 2 ohms as apposed to 4 ohms?
With that specific amp, 2 ohms would draw the most power (while keeping the amp "stable").

well the type r it is then! when i get home from school i'm going to order my system!

i did look into the l7 but it's 100$ more then the type r and that's a little to expensive for me. is it worth the extra money? or would i be just as happy with the the type r

great! i'm going to head off to trans lex(stereo shop) and work out a deal. i told him i was going to buy some of my stuff online because it's cheaper and he was like before you do that come over here and we'll see what we can do!

hopefuly all goes well.

thanks for the replys guys!
