cvr 15d4s compared to hds2 15d4s

31hz is way too low for an HDS2 as well as 6cubes these subs love the 35-40hz range and only need like 4cubes per sub also I just re read your first post. You said the CVR has more excursion that is why it moves more air. Now if you had the power put the CVR against an HDC3 since they are in the same price range and see which one wins

yeah sounds about right, they both have 2.5 inch coils so they can only get so loud, as of right now the cvrs are moving more air, I know the hds2 can get louder on the high notes for sure though. im still trying to sell them, they are in good condition.

I took out the 15s and covered one of the cutouts with a piece of birch, and threw in 1 of my havoc 18s on the brutus at .5 ohm and the 18 kills the hds2 15s and cvr 15s. just 1 18, its crazy how that's possible, I always though cone area was king!!
