cutting inner door structure

Im thinking of taking a set of doors and cutting out the iner structure of it. then it will be very simple to deaden the door. and i cna make a fiberglass enclosure in the doors for my components. just wondering what the general consensis was about removing the inner structure and after i deaden it and build fiberglass enclosures, weldgin supports back into the door. whatcha think?

well i have 2 sets of doors for my truck. so if i screw one up i guess it wouldnt be so bad. just wanted to get some opinions. what would/could happen would the door lose its shape without the inner part or become irregular somehow after i welded back the inner structure?

Maybe test your method out on a junkyard door first just to be safe? Just a suggestion.

it may cause your door to flex very bad, or even ruin the integrity of the door

flex after i put the door back on the truck? the doors are off the truck right now. there just a second set of doors that came with the truck. you think they would fall apart laying on the ground right when i cut the supports? or maybe there is a way i can build a box around it so it keeps its shape?
