Klein Tools also makes a set of ratcheting cable cutters. That's all I'll ever use now a days.

I bought some red-handled cable cutters that say HKP on them at Home Depot for like $16, and they cut through 1/0 gauge wire like butter. Probably the best $16 I ever spent on a tool.

Bought em at HD for 16 dollars, said it could cut up to 2/0 of copper wire... these did the trick... but just barely, it was not like cuting through butter, it was more like slicing bread with a butter knife, you can do it cleanly but there are better tools for the job... they got the job done tho in case anyone cares

if u wanna go cheaper dog nail clippers work really good at stripping and cutting the wire. get the ones that have the curved blade.
