Custom System 4a Escolade..What Would You Change?

Here is A System I Put togeather.. some of my Faves..

Bugget Is $2000 I will be doing the install so No Labor is on this bugget

The Lade already has a Avic installed

(2) SoundSlpinter RL-p12's (600wRMS)

(1)US Amps XT-2000.1- (1200x1@2Ohms)

(1)US Amps XT-800.4- (100x4)

(1)Focal 165V3 (3-Way Comp Set Sweet ***)

(1)Focal 165V1 (2-Way Comps For Rear Doors)

Custom Box ,Amp Rack & Front Doors Pods..

I would be doing Something Like This

It is.. I will be make'in my own but In that style..

Prolly worl the amprack into it..

TC has great prices on Box's anyhow..

Should be good..

i would advise not to put both midrange and midbass speakers in the same door...

Yeah, they have really good prices on those boxes. As for location on the speakers, we kinda need to know what your plans are for the vehicle. Putting the midbass and midrange in the door doesn't really work out best for imaging and staging so it really doesn't work best for sq. If you are just wanting something that will be loud and don't have any time correction or eq's or or don't want to build kick panels, just leave them in the doors. Like I said it isn't an ideal location...but it will work. I had good luck out of mine with both midrange and midbass in the door but I had eq and time correction to help out with path lengths and all. Of course it only sounded good from the driver seat.

Im doing this System for my Buddy that just got back from Iraq..

Its getting a Lift & Custom Paint & Seats right now..

I would like it to sound good SQish..

Nice Stage & High vol. but get very loud since its his Baby he wants to make it B0oM

I live in AZ He lives in TX.. I was going to make everything That I can before going down to TX & Taking time off work to install..

I Have a GMC Door At my work but no kicks.. (Door was damaged)

So We have it in the shop..

So Iwas thinking this would be a nice custom look with good sound..

The Lade has a Massive Center console so I didnt think kicks would work so well..

Maybe I will just do 2-Way K2's insted.. & make a nice looking Door Pod..

The Box will be that style some what the same shape But I will be doing an Amp rack under it in a Tray Thats the idea anyway..

Its EscAlade, not EscOlade... sounds nice, only thing i would personally change- tcsounds has the tc3000 on sale, i would use those. (im a bit more of a basshead, though) otherwise looks nice!

what are you talking about (custom name tag)? it has been escAlade since they came out....

and i never said anything about the box... i understand what you are talking about... i meant the planned system looked nice...

any reason for switching to the 2 way? easier install, i imagine? either way, a nice 2 way set can sound amazing as well... kp6 still a focal product? either way sounds nice! what year is the escalade?

yeah staying with Focal one line up from the Polyglass V2's is the Kp line..

I would get the 6.5" 165Kp I think is the number..

What year is the Escalade... I think it is an 2002/2003

When did the Pioneer Avic N1 comeout..lol
