Newest project for a customer: (4) RE X 8's ported for a trunk.

1.75 ft3 tuned to 36hz, driver flush mount...to be carpeted still.

Flush looks very cool, but can be an issue when running heavy subs. I had to pull my DC's today and I ended up having to tip the box upside down so I could get the subs out.

I love the look too, but yeah its a major pain with heavy subs.

Since it was pretty nice out today I finally got around to installing the extra terminal posts I bought. Now I don't have to pull the subs if I want to change the impedance. It's gonna be a bonus for comps. Maybe this can be an option for you to offer customers that are buying a box for both daily and for comps. If it's nice out tomorrow I'm going to try and meter the box wired down to .5, I really need to make sure the TL works ok on my new laptop, I haven't actually tried it out with on Windows 7 yet.

Im not doing the build to beat T.J. I just wanted to see how loud I could get a car in the stock class before going to mod. I bought a car so I wont be using the Jeep. Adam is building a wall for his Subaru and I told him to have Rooney build it.

Customer wanted carpet but I decided that textured paint would look much nicer for the baffle and the rest could be carpet.
