Custom SPL fuse block

i can build one of those.. wont take very much time .. may be able to make it to where it doesnt affect my wiring
You can buy the 1x.25x48" aluminum in the Lowes hardware dept. I recommend to at least double stack the aluminum, if not triple stack. Be careful w/ drilling aluminum, it likes to snap bits:)

i need one to hold 2 fuses lol.. shouldnt be a very big one.. So i would need 2 agu clips and as many AGU 40 amps i can get my hands on right?
Yeah. If I were you I'd go ahead and make it able to hold 4-6 fuses. You may eventually want to run a higher class or want to throw in a lot of fusing for daily beating.

Yea I will probably make it to hold 10.. Can all the stuff be bought at lowes/Home dept?

I still dont understand why you wouldnt just get a barrel fuse holder if only running 2 different fuse sizes.
A number of reasons. None of us are yet set on what type of fuses were are going to run this year. If you make a block like this it's easy to modify to handle agu's, anl's, mini anl's, atc, etc. A lot of us also draw a bunch of current, and we can make these *****es thick:). Plus, it's easy to make multiple connections.

DIY ftw.

Thanks for the help.

I might just make one for use in my ranger for my sundown sae1200. I am in need of a fuseholder and would love to make my own.

this is the old maxi fuses, but it could easily be adapted for ANLs

it only cost like 5 bucks too

i cant wait to get started on this monday mornin! so BEN other than the aluminum that you suggested what else do I need other than the fuses them self?

Can you pick up the clips at radioshack/lowes? I got some acrylic Im going to make the holder out of.
We got our clips from fusesunlimited.com, part # h105001. Tell them that you want the 5AG clips (5AG=AGU). I think that you must make a $20 order from the company, however.

I was also told that you can get them from digikey.com w/ the same part #.
