We thought that too, but at the great 12 challenge we actually burnt 2 bolts like that, and it quit conducting, but we were passing 10kw through them for minutes at a time

for somethign quick and dirty get some ring terminals and bolts and then screw an ANL fuse between them, then use waterhose clamps to mount it to a piece of mdf

Why can't you just get a wafer-style fuse holder and stack 2 300A fuses on top of each other?

needs to be less than 80 amps worth of fusing.. I currenty have (5) 300 amp fuses and need to cut that down to only 80 amps worth fusing... Lower class in MECA event

By the sound of things you are running S2, (80x10)+176=976.

I don't quite understand.

they do lakota will remove all but 2 40's for comp..

Ohh, ok so its just an easy way to swap around classes.

Just turn the amp down and remove a couple fuses.
