Well I had my eyes on a Probox for a while buy the guy never replied to emails, so im looking again. I am looking for a Probox or a custom box for my truck, an extended cab Silverado, 2004 model. I am going to have two 12"s in it, so if custom box for sale keep that in mind. Otherwise I am just looking for a Probox( http://www.Proboxrocks.com ) for an 04 ext cab Silverado that holds 12" subs.

Let me know what you got and name a price.

Either of those would be great, I actually just messaged Moe, so i'll see how things work out, but definantly interested in the plans, I could always have it built by moe if I had the plans. I checke dout some of his work on the forums and he looks to do great work.

mine

and bri487 the sub size doesnt matter its the actual sub and the install so it doesnt matter what size you get as long as it fits properly....
i had proper air space and what not for the 12"s, everything was fine for the subs, just didnt sound quite like it should in the truck. plus to get the proper air space for most 12"s, the box has to stick out a little further out into the rear passengers footwell. the 10"s just acted better in the enviroment.

and also, it was all under seat, in which it does make a difference. sacrificing the rear seat imo is gay. i would rather be able to have 3 more *****es and keep the truck just as functional as it was before it had the system. a good installer can do that and still make it sound good.

i never tried 12's under the seat but the tens i had under there didnt like it at all.....it was like night and day when i put them in that box i posted. dont know why, same size box and everything.

enough clearance betweent the woofer and the floor is important, too close and it sounds like ***, plus it can hit the floor, and if the box has and gap between the front of it (the side you can see from the front seats) and the floor where bass can escape, it doesnt sound good or get loud. it cancels out and does something funky when bass can escape through the front.

i guess i never really fiddled with that box so it was pry my install but i love it now

i think when i get the money, my next setup will be a cut though with two treo ssx 15"s ported. about 8 cubes total.
i thought about doing something similar but i had no desire to cut thru my cab and box.....might be kinda hard to sell if you do.

should be sweet if you do it
