custom look for my tweets

some of you may remember when i wreck my cutlass awhile back. well i bought another cutlass and started working on it and decided that i needed to do something to the tweets i had on the a pillars because they were just sitting there. so here's what i did today. not the best but much better than before. i used some random material from wally world, hot glue gun, 2 layers of resin(no strength needed just cosmetic), a layer of spray on truck bed liner for texture, some primer and the paint.

they aren't too long--they were already in there on the car, i just took em off to glass it.

well i wanted to add texture to the whole piece so thats why i chose to do it like this. also the plastic piece was kind old and was starting to get sun faded and cracked so this was a great alternative for me.

yup, i just test fit it in my car and i must say it is awesome looking--i'll take some pics this weekend after i get them put in.
