custom jl type box

the only way i'll be able to fit a ported box for my rl-ps in the trunk of my stratus will be to have the subs face up and the port face the back, or i could slant the subs in like the jl h.o. boxes.

basically i want to know if slanting the subs towards each other will cause any kind of cancellation.

if i slanted the subs this is what the box would look like:

if it helps any the subs are slanted in and the port will be to the side of them. I just need some reasurance before i build it

 
alright thanks guys you really helped out. i forgot to mention that the reason i need them to be slanted is because the width of my trunk is only 36'' for 2 15's and a port, so id never be able to have enough port area if it was straight across.

just build it deeper, and as long as you can get the right cubic feet you should be fine...
