it has 3" corner bracing in the corners, and then a large brace in between the two subs on the face. There is a speaker gasket around the opening for the subs for an airtight seal, and it is also sealed throughout with liquid nails, screw down terminal cup was also sealed from the inside, so it's as airtight as a ported box can get
