custom box for mids/highs

I read somewhere on this forum that a custom box for mids/highs won't influence SQ in any way ever. I think this is BS. Although box volume and size have no bearing on the sound, the Aiming of the speaker does. A custom box allows for more precise control over how the speaker is positioned so as to get every detail out of the sound.

I just want to see how many people disagree.

Kick panels, or pretty well any custom box to control how your speakers are aimed.

I don't remember where but someone said that custom boxes for midrange and tweets would have no effect on SQ. I think it was an argument between steven and Alaxan

Exactly. Why would people waste their money on these things if they did squat - looks.

In many competitions how the system looks means nothing, it's the SOUND that counts.
