I was jw what's out there that's on the same level as the pioneer p99rs at this point. I still want to have usb and Bluetooth functionality in my unit. 4way active is also a must

4-way active from a head unit requires a P99RS or a Clarion unit that is not sold new in the US. Get whatever head unit you like that has the features you need short of the DSP, and add an external DSP of your choice. There will be people who swear you have to have a high end head unit if you're going to add an 8-channel DSP, but it's not necessary. You do not need a name brand DAC to get a good pre-out signal. You do not need a copper chassis. You do not need optical out. The tune you do on the DSP is going to make a much, much bigger impact to the end result, as well as choosing good speakers and acoustically treating the car.

Thanks sir. Though 4way active isn't a must, I will be going active in the next setup I do(hope that made sense lol). I love a good ol Pioneer deck, but I want something different. Something that stands out and gives me that feeling like, I got a ****** system and my headunit is killin it!

I already have a DSP, but I want to run a higher end head unit so I don't have to run an external DSP. In a way, make everything a lot simpler (maybe not). I just want to know what the options are for myself. I know of the Clarion also, I would have to go to a dealer for that though.

Ok, let's switch it up. How about pure SQ units with the features I listed (USB and BT). I might just go head unit and processor, maybe something other than the ms8
