Has anyone’s opinions changed since this tread was created about good online stores?

I need to know weather to buy from onlinecarstereo.com or purecaraudio.com or neither and just purchase from an authorized dealer.

I am planning on buying the following.

6 1/2 Diamond audio S600s

JL 500.5 amp

JL w3v2

purecaraudio ($1114.34) total is only cheaper than onlinecarstereo ($1157.00) by $43

The thing is I have been trying to call both stores but the lines have been busy. I have tried calling each store at least 3 times each but no one seems to be answering.

caraudio.com ranks onlinecarstereo as #1 and purecaraudio.com as #10 shopping sites.

What's up with that.....? Has people's opinions changed that much since 8/2002 ?????

I have had nothing but bad experinces with www.carstereo.com

They sell refurbished items, and claim that they are new. Ordered a headunit that turned out broken...then a friend of mine bought a sub from them that had the motor all scratched up and eventually blew.

Just wouldn't buy from them again,.....

ive bought from etronics a few times and everything went great. I even went through returning 2 12" Type-R's, everything went smoothly with that.
