Cubic Feet - Need More or Less???

Im not sure about this at all... see what you all have to say

Im curious if you have a sealed sub enclosure with 1 cubic feet of space inside, will it sound better than a sealed enclosure with only .5 cubic feet in it?

so basically.... does more cubic feet in a sealed enclosure mean better bass response and sound or just a bigger box taking up more room in your trunk?

Box size is tricky. The optimal size for any sub depends on what sub it is. In gereral, bigger boxes will allow the sub to play lower, with less overall output as you head towards the extreme. Smaller boxes will give you less low bass, but a higher peak response. However, a bigger box is more effecient, ala louder with the same amount of power, so really, tell us what sub it is and we can give you good enclosure ideas.

i have just one eD 10 inch sub.. its in a 13 x 13 x 13 inch box right now
