Quality of Subwoffers

I can get 2 of these subs rated at 600Watt RMS each for around $100.00. Does anyone have any opinions about them.

POWER ACOUSTIK FUBR-10 10" Car Audio Subwoofer

I would like to drive 2 of these with a JBL BP1200.1 amplifer.

Does that sound like a good combination for someone on a budget.

I think many people will agree that if you have the budget for a jbl1200, then you should probably use better subs than that. If your budget is really that tight, you could sell the jbl and get a smaller amp and higher quality subs unless you are purely into spl, and those should be ok.

i believe the jbl he is talking about is an older model and it's not exactly a gold mind. for awhile they sold for $250 new, so it's not really an expensive amp

If you want loudish, stick the fubrs. All comes down to personal preference.

i had 1 10" fubr a while back in a sealed enclosure. it got pretty loud on 500wrms but sound quality was lacking. also im not so sure about PA's power rating...got a little warm on just 500wrms with gains set by dmm. i would also suggest looking into mach 5 as i have heard nothing but good...and look at the price lol. hope this helps you out man.

lol hes tryna get 2 12s for $100... i think the ssd's are a bit out of his reach, and he would need to upgrade his amp to run 2 12 ssd's

I saw you get a Mach 5 or two. . they are well within your price range aswell.

I wouldnt say well within price range ... two 12's are $108 before shipping, and shipping to California will be huge.
