yes. exactly so the back of the box will be 3 inches from the start of the port. and from that point 14 inches to the end of the port. and its 12 inches tall. so that it connects the two side plates to itself. yes. you will have 3.15 cubes b4 sub displacement. if you do not place any extra bracing. to adjust your box take your width and height and length. then adjust the numbers by the thickness of both walls. Using 3/4 mdf just subtract 1.5 inches from your overall lengths. that will give you a total number. in this case the total size being 5580. the number you get before dividing by 1728. thats your total volume by inches. then take what ever material that will be inside the box. measure it. length by width by thickness. that will give you its total sq inches. take the boxes internal volume which is 5580 and subtract the total number of sq inches of the material you have going into the box. once you have subtracted the total of sq inches of material *exmp. port bracing etc.* divide by 1728 that will give you the total internal volume.
