Heroes are remembered, but legends never die
What are you guys thoughts on these? I have never seen one perform in person. But my brother has one thats blown(it was his fault though) and it seemed like a solid sub rated at 800rms for like 249.00 new but i can find them cheaper. I would use the search but of course the search has been broken for who knows how long now...

How much power will they safely handle? I know the enclosure plays into this but im curious about their durability.

im not familiar with NVX, im not worried about him closing i would recone with PSI if i blew it lol. Im asking about this sub because im curious about the power handling and cant seem to find much info on them

Due to ct sounds leaving the audio market and shady track record to begin with, people here don't really bother to use their products.
Understood... I just figured someone had to have some experience with them. im aware of the track record but everything i seen was with their amps and the dispute he was having with the build house. I have not seen to much negative about their subs.

CT Sounds is nothing special. Business ethics may not be important to you, but it should if you ever need support from them. He has fu*ked over plenty of people and likely woudn't hesitate to do it to you.

Meh i wont need them, i will just recone it myself and wouldnt use their parts for it. Any recone i do i use PSI because i can make the sub the way i want it to be...

dang lol... i dont think i would see 2k after rise though even wired at .5. Probably the most the sub would see is 1500 id say at best

Also its a 3 inch coil. To me that has to be a conservative rating. HDS3s are rated at 1200 and everyone know Soundqubed Softies are semi cheap. Not saying soundqubed is bad because they are my favorite brand. But i know the sofites are cheap

i'm sure it'll be fine u set gain good but are u looking at spending about $249 for it or do u have the sub or getting used?

local guy has a pair of strato 12s on a ct 1400.1, clips the amp to hell 24/7 and has voltage drop down to 10.3 volts every time he plays. IDK how the setup is still alive after 2 years
