Hey guys I have a quick question... So I'm debating about swapping out my old school Memphis mcd1500 for a ct 2500.1 and was wondering which amp would be best for my set up. I'm powering a 4 ohm x12 on a stock 135 amp alternator with big 3 upgrade and kinitik battery in the trunk (0 gauge wire). I don't have any plans on adding a 2nd woofer due to space and want the best efficiency at 2 ohms.

CT Sounds 2500.1

1250rms @2ohm/12.7v

16-Mcd1500

1500rms @2ohm/14.4v

I was able to log in fine, using Chrome if that helps. I don't know anything about the product at all, just found the info and shared the love. :)

Brother in law has some of their 8’s and they are little beasts. Typical cookie cutter product that performs as it should.

Off the shelf design, nothing special and will sound like a bull horn. The best pro audio drivers I’ve heard are the crossfire XTpro6’s. The best...

The formula is Square Root of your target Wattage Multiplied by Ohms. 50Wx4Ohms=200. Square root of 200 is 14.14. So 15v AC is your target.
