Crystal Mobilesound Comp 10

Has anyone heard the Crystal Mobilesound Comp 10? I plan to pick up one and run it in a 1.25^3 ported enclosure with 300 watts rms. How much output could I expect from this setup? Would sealed be better? I mainly listen to Classic rock, hip-hop and alternative. Would a 12" give me more bang for my wattage?

Their site says that the port has to be 4"d x 15"L. The enclosure is going to be only 9" deep, can I use a PVC elbow and bend the port? Would that effect the port? Can I use a different sized port all together?

No, I am saying I don't since it only has 100 watts RMS more.
lol because it's 100 watts more has nothing to do with performance...I don't think you know what your talkin' about.

I can't comment on them though. Because I don't know what either are like and let alone I've never heard of them.

Sorry, those specs were from another sub.

Here are the specs from Crystal's site:

Recommended Ported Enclosure

Total Enclosure Volume: 0.9 cu. ft.

Port Diameter: 3 in.

Port Length: 12 in.

Fe: 33 Hz

Can I use a PVC elbow to curve the port?

Yes you can curve it, it will be louder ported at 300w, and if you have the means to get more tahn 300w, or even at 300w, I would more than likely take bets the 12" would be a bit louder than your 10" woofer.

Would the difference in output be significant in your opinion? I would like to save the space if possible but could sacrifice a little more space for a significant boost in output.

The specs for the 12" are:

Recommended Ported Enclosure

Total Enclosure Volume: 1.6 cu. ft. (.90^3 for the 10")

Port Diameter: 4 in.

Port Length: 15 in.

Fe: 34 Hz
