Hi I was wondering what you guyz think of this sub MSRP $ 699.00. I just bought two of this sub brand spanking new for a really really good deal that I couldn't not pass up. And I was wondering what you guyz think of this subwoofer. I will be running it on a Arc Audio 2300 SE the Zeff edition amp which puts out 1300 at 2ohm. It will be in a ported box 3.5 cubes total for both driver using three 3 inch aero port.

Is this subwoofer in the lines of XXX,W7,etc...? I mean I got such a good deal it was impossible to pass up I got a really got deal thats the only reason I bought them. Just want to make sure its a really good sub.

And is that 3.5 cubes per sub, or net? If thats net then it is a tad small... And I hope you are using more than a single 3" port as well

The CMPx2 isn't quite on the level of the W7/xxx/brahma, but its not far off. Very nice subs. What was this great deal ($)?

The box will b 3.5 total net for both drivers gonna use three, 3 inch areo ports.

it has been a while, but I think the last time I heard them in a good install it was sealed around 3 cubes per and getting 1200 watts, maybe

i use to have a CMPX2 15 about 3 years ago and i was not all that impressed...

i had about 1200 going into it in a sealed box...yes it was sealed so i guess i never knew its full potential but from a sealed stand point, it was loud, but i wasn't fully impressed...

does anyone know if they've changed in the last 3-4 years?

my bud has 4 cmpx2s in a wall with 4 powerbass 3000d amps 1 per sub and he hit 167. something. not sure exactly but it was loud as **** and he didnt have the box properly tuned it was in an escort. also i know a guy that i dislike who is local that hit 163 with 2 12's in a extended cab mazda pu he beat me when i had 6 fosgate punch hx2's in a bronco(i didnt do the box right) so in my oppinion they are great subs when done properly.

I dont see a 167 with an improperly built enclosure... What kind of mic was this? Fisher Price?

i've used a modified version w/ alot stiffer suspension, i was pretty impressed.
