CRX Mechman Alt Install *Help*

Ok, just got my old alt out and it has 3 ridge pulley on it, the alt that Mechman sent me has a 4 ridge pulley....do I swap pulleys or leave 4 ridge on? The belt seems like it sits in 3 of the 4 fine...but I'm not sure what will happen, I mean there is a chance the belt will jump....Does anyone know what to do?

i would put the correct pulley on.

I've seen an 8 rib pulley running with a 6 rib belt just fine for as long as you can remember.

^just because it's been done, doesn't mean it's a good idea.

He does this on purpose. Adds one more that what is needed.

I also have one more rib added on mine and it does not jump.
