Places like convenient store and Dept stores must have signs and they must be posted 24 hours before the tow.
Apartment complexes and the like do not. Most do as its just common courtesy. However the lease that was signed clearly says where to and where not to park and its the renters responsibility to tell you. Shitty, I know. Most places put a sticker on the vehicle giving you 24 hours notice. Soundds like they wanted to be an ***.

Youve already paid for the tow and it would cost more trying to recoup the 110.

If you are that interested and can do it yourself, check and see if they towed the vehicle too soon. perhaps there s a limit. If thats the case maybe the apt complex will refund you. I woldnt count on it though.

Alright, as much as I hate that I had to pay $110, I'll leave this as is and call it lesson learned.

I really don't feel up to arguing with anyone today.

We were told that we cannot have them towed unless there're signs posted. Also we had to have a permit or something from the towing company?

Call the best company in your area. They will give you the certificate and will come put up the sign. Problem solved.

Due in part to the efforts of Iam, I have been seriously considering buying an American made car. However, everytime I ask someone who owns a car that I am considering whether they like it the answer is invariably, "meh."
True story -- and I am bummed about it. I really would like for the answer to be different because you can typically buy an American car cheaper than a foreign competitor.

Typically people like to complain or find fault than to be happy or or state pros if it goes against popular public opinion/perception. Especially when this opinion seems validated by the media. Blind tests show this.

Not new, but that is basically what a GTO is.
I like the G8. I think I would like it more than I did the GTO because it has more to it.

Of course I could just be a nut rider, but there have bee non-GM american autos I would have liked to buy and I really do think my wifes Camry is a nice car. When it come down to it though buying anything but a GM isn't possible from an economical/value standpoint. Even though I'd love to hear of people buying more GM or other american autos, I couldn't exactly say the Camry or comparable car isn't a good buy. I think they are all so close that there are good buys on both sides.
