The X Factor
A little bit Dev, but I am serious that anyone speculating in real estate right now needs to be cautious -- especially if they are inexperienced. It would also be nice to have deep pockets.
I know that people would call this a buyer's market, but unless you can get in with a lot equity (or increase the equity w/o much cost) then you just end up owning in a buyer's market.
My 2 cents.
I dont have deep pockets, I have decent pockets. I just learned a lot over the past few years.
And word, I never really intended to sell any of the houses I worked with. That was a decision made by my brother or mother and her exhusband. I wanted to keep them. And in the end I was bought out by my brother, which is why im not in it anymore. That one we sold was only because we got that house specifically to sell it to one of the two people we knew (both of them were my brother's wife's family members.) One of the other houses is now a foster home, something I wanted no part of.
I want rental properties.
