I'd like to get a projector, but then I would need to find a device that turns cable from the wall into digital cable or something that can plug into a projector.

However with the TVs I am interested dropping in price, I may just get two 46"ers like I want. True -- Two 46" 1080p for the price of the projector, but projector is like 100"

You would use the A/V RCA outputs from the set-top-box to the projector.

I'm facing the same exact delema. The cost of TV's are dropping so fast it is unbelievable. I may skip the projector phase entirely until I have a movie theater in my house. I just dunno.

I have a ceiling fan...and this stupid roof thing that angles up....but I think I can angle it just right and be fine.

It hangs just like a ceiling fan on angle roofs or flat. Doesn't make a difference.
