It's DRM even if you buy the song....like pay the $12.00 for the CD. Still can only use it on Zune. I am thinking about getting iPod instead. My Zune has a spot/mark/something about the size of a thumb covering up...so I want something different. I may have a trade worked out to get an Ipod.
If ripping DRM to increase compatibility makes me a thief, then call me a scammer. I can live with that.

DRM is a bit of a beef with me. I thought you were somehow working the system of ZUNE though in some way. I am along your thinking though that if you pay for it in some fashion then you should be able to reproduce it in any media you need it in for your own benefit. Fair use and all.

I like the sound bar idea and that "look". Fortunately, I don't have enough money to purchase either one and am still saving up for a new TV.

Why not use those drivers and make a soundbar if you like that look?

If I could figure out a way to incorporate the DVD player, I would most definitely.
I would like to figure how how to reproduce that ~$500 Samsung unit I posted.

Wireless sub (I can do without that)

I can use that 2.1 channel amp inside the sound bar...the issue comes with finding a small DVD player, and then running everything with one cord.

If you have no qualms on taking apart a dvd player and mounting the guts in your own home made housing, I see no reason why you can't do it. Many people on the net have done similar things to recreate something.

That be sweet to put DVD's into a VCR and work.

I see. I could buy one of those $20 ones and bust it open....or I could make a "port" and just use my laptop.
ie...plug that would go from laptop to "soundbar" those plugs would do audio and video....

That may be a better plan.

Now your thinking. This of course is only an option if you find fabrication rewarding. I am sure people on DIY sites can lend ideas or have documented projects to give you ideas.
