I really think I need to work on my no limit game. Every new player seems to think that NL is the way to go even though everything they say indicates limit would be a better game for them.

people are smart when they show a specfiic hand, for a n00b I would not recommend doing it. And most pros won't do it and when they do it's a specific hand. So yes....really.

Perhaps I do not fully understand bluff? I think of bluff is if you do not have the winning hand but pretend that you do. I only do that to bankrupt a competitor.
But I will pretend like I do not if I think it will bankrupt a competitor.

I thought bluffing implies intending to win. I don't really lie to win.

In a sense you throwing a hand is a bluff. You threw a winning hand to out more players. It is a deceitful strategy so falls under bluff.

Funny thing is that if I am playing for free I would rather play no limit (which is not my preferred cash game). The reason being is NL is the only way to get people to play in a manner that even remotely resembles real poker.

eh it happens. I really want to but the place I really want to go to it'll be on Sunday/Monday night and it'll be near 400 dollars for a two night stay.

Thats not expensive. I have spent over that for one night. it was the sybaris suites. Jacuzzi, pool with waterfall and bed swing. Much fun *********** time I had. Of course you are a student on limited budget so I can understand why you are a loser.

Talked to the dean. It just so happened my interpersonal communications teacher was there, and he told the dean about how my Detroit Tigers presentation was the best presentation and his class, and how good of a student I was. It kind of softened her up. I then pleaded my case and she agreed to allow the transfer.

In other news, I talked to UPS. The buyer needs to provide a written estimate of damage. Ball is in his court now. UPS will pay for the repair or replacement of the amp.
